About this event

The Arts & Humanities Council of Montgomery County (AHCMC) will host two free application preparation webinars to discuss the guidelines and online application process for the FY23 Wheaton Cultural Project Grants. The webinars will also cover navigating the online SurveyMonkey Apply (SM Apply) grants portal.

The webinars will take place on:

  • Monday, October 3, 2022 from 4:00 - 5:30 p.m.
  • Friday, October 14, 2022 from 2:00 - 3:30 p.m.

Both webinars will cover the same material. Instructions on how to join will be sent via email to registrants on the day of the webinar.

We recommend that attendees use Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox to join the webinar and access the online application.

New applicants are highly encouraged to contact AHCMC grants staff and attend a webinar. It is strongly recommended that webinar attendees read the FY23 Wheaton Cultural Project Grants guidelines beforehand and come prepared with questions. Attending preparation webinars is not required, however all applicants are highly encouraged attend.

About this opportunity

Wheaton Cultural Project Grants (WCPG) are available to arts and/or humanities organizations and groups located in Montgomery County, MD that may or may not be incorporated as non-profit organizations with 501(c)(3) status and individual artists and scholars who reside in Montgomery County, MD. Grant awards support impactful projects within the Wheaton, MD community and provide professional opportunities for artists and scholars to work in Wheaton.

The award amounts for WCPG range from at least $1,000 up to $10,000.

All applications and relevant materials must be submitted through the online SurveyMonkey Apply (SM Apply) portal.
